BATAVUS? Looking for information

A friend has a really cool old Batavus bicycle but I am having trouble finding any information about the company or their old line of products. Totally cool bike. Has a generator on the front wheel that runs the headlight and a taillight! Attached is a pic of the head badge. Will get mor pics later.

The date/frame number is usually located on the seat post lug or the bottom bracket.
