$20 trek 1000

picked up this 1988-1989 Trek 1000 today. the owner said it the rear axle was broke and I got it home and all i can see is the quick release was released and put it together and rode it
62cm frame size too!

nope this is staying here awhile I regretted selling that panasonic real bad and wanted something light and my size!

Cheap tall Treks aren't that easy to come by these days.

the rear derailleur is messed up so i will be doing an overhaul on this maybe a triple up front to make it like the 1200

That's a heck of a find. Old road bikes are getting pricey as Treks are always sure sellers around here. I picked up a Trek 400 for $50 a month ago and flipped it for 200 after removing the aerobars and old speedo. Does that have the biopace chainrings on it?
