1972 ish Ted Williams Free Spirit built by Puch for Sears, originally was a mix of crappy components and a first generation DuraAce deraileur, original paint Reynolds 531 frame and fork, I added a nice 700c wheelset, Raleigh crank, funky seatpost, Mafac Racer brakes, Brumel plastic fenders,... really light and a fun ride

I like everything but the seat post (not that it matters what i think), but its just too funky, I think. Thanks for posting it.

i was just about to say the seatpost is my favorite part...
 
I dig lugged frames, I give it a thumbs up! A friend of mine had a moped MANY years ago, made by Puch, that was also sold by Sears. Puch also made motorcycles, pronounced like spook minus the "s". Hope I enlightened someone!
