    Oh and if you do paint your bike don't use rustoleum...its terrible and get wrinkly easy unless you want that look in which case i recommend using actual wrinkle finish paint

    if you can wrench on a 65 VW, you can lace up wheels, check out the instructions on sheldon brown's site. you can always bring them to your lical bike shop to get them trued if you get frustrated

    welding galvanized conduit is much easier when you gring of the zinc plating first, better for you lungs too.
