okay thanx i was curious why it still seemed engaged in the N position, any idea of the years that had the enclosed type of chainguard?

Anyone know where to find Higgins ser#'s? or how to date rear hub? I came across a lightweight i want to use for a build it has a totally enclosed type chain guard the sprocket has the letters JC Higgins in it a 2 speed thumbshifter with neutral but the hub says 3 speed and they are not dated...

so what designated the b6? is it more along the lines of the phantom? also did mine have a tank? thanx rusty

okay guys and gals ,RAT SALAD is about 90% done!!!! I scraped the board bike look and went HOTROD , i used some touches of truefire & skulls on her, extra long fenders front and rear,found an old plastic seat base and airbrushed it,came out kinda cool looks leathery,left all the hardware as...

Good eye thats right it's a 63' 300 sedan,383 stroker,full roller,426HP,4 link in the rear,disc brakes,alum radiator,ceramic headers and a bunch of other goodies not related to bikes LOL!!!! :lol: , as for the shifter i think i'll hang on to it i think the rear hub to it is in the pile o' parts...
