TRADITIONAL Fooligan - 1930s Elgin Oriole

One week Hidden Gardens tour. Next week shenanigans. Those grease fittings aren’t original are they? Seems like you’d get more grease filling the frame than you would in the bearings.

    UNLIMITED Falstaffs Revenge (Working title?

Good to see you in it man! Pics are plenty good for documentation.

Great back story and great looking bike. Sounds like you got the right plan for it.

Only suffering will be having to wait to see what you do with this bad boy. Thrilled to see a CRASH Rail build on the main stage here. Summer build off is always a good time no matter what you bring but I know already this will be a personal favorite for me. Right up there with the big dogs.

    TRADITIONAL ResuTrektion

Didn’t see a carbon road bike catagory so I guess this is traditional. Worked on this a few years ago but only managed to turn it into a white terd. Can’t get used to the drop bars so want to make this a flat bar cruiser. Will make one more attempt at the bare carbon but may have to paint or...

Beautiful spread you got there OJ. Like the sound of modern rolling stock. Great vid. You have a very soothing voice. Kind of like the Bob Ross of rust.

Good to see the ole fountain/pond. Look forward to seeing what lands on this one. Cool looking frame.

Interesting history lesson. Does the 28 inch dia wheel correspond to any modern size? Some wild symbolism going on with the head badge. Looks like a very cool project.

Anybody sniffing BO 19 in the air?

Hopefully fishing it out of the pile doesn’t count as a start.

Hub width would depend on what width the rear drops are. Guessing thats 135mm mtb spacing so mtb hub. Newer 10/11 speed drivetrains work flawlessly if you get a matching group set like that. I would also recommend replacing the front ring with a narrow/wide chainring. Those are disc brake...

Anybody sniffing BO 19 in the air?

This looks like a very cool bike. Will it be sturdy enough for a Clydes-job/Odds-dale? Can’t wait for the Rustard treatment.

Anybody sniffing BO 19 in the air?

Spoke sorter. Wanted to keep the blade spokes oriented to their original positions. Wasn’t going to be a tank or anything cool like that. ☺️😅 Maybe a fairing tho.🤔😎

Anybody sniffing BO 19 in the air?

It’s been a while. Haven’t played with bikes in a while. Son is driving now but I’m still a child.

Anybody sniffing BO 19 in the air?

Would get disassembled and I want to make it more of a cruiser. Only rub/gray area is I want to make another attempt at removing the finish which I failed to do the first time. (Was actually hospitalized for a couple weeks during this BO). If I ended up succeeding I probably wouldn’t submit it...

Ya might be better to just do a build thread.

Anybody sniffing BO 19 in the air?

Have something I’d like to participate with. Kind of a re-do but was never finished properly and would like to take it in a different direction. Some of you regulars might recognize it. This is what I would be starting with. Would be the only option for me as funds are tight but did order...
