So it's Sat. mornning (7/2/2011) & I hit the bank & then I'm off to the bike shop to pick up some stuff to finish my "$100.00 Deal Bike" & on the way I see a yard sale with bikes all over the yard. You know I gotta stop just to look ... anyway long story short ... here's what I came home with...

I just picked up a Schwinn 10 speed bike at a yard sale. The rear wheel has a pretty good bend in it ... but rideable. Can I put one of my 7 speed wheels on it with out changing everything else? Will it count the 5 speeds & leave the other 2 alone or will it get lost trying to shift & not know...

I was there for a while in the moenning & yes it was a great time. Got to meet some great people & spent a fair amount of time in the bike shop. The Blun Moon Bike shop is realy a pretty cool place! Thanks Blue Moon ... eddielives

I'm still kinda new at this but the one thing I've found is that you should keep the bearings with the matching cups. I changed a bunch of forks on my $100.00 deal bike trying to get the look I wanted & as long as the bearings matched the cups the forks fit with out any problems. Hope it helps...
