I got out of the office after midday for a 2 hour blast around town on the 29” Big Style.

Some of the most incredible cast iron lacework I have seen on a home in the city.

Followed by the stunning multicolored, tuckpointed brickwork on St Judes Church, completed in 1874. The work around the windows is truly amazing.

once again, apologies folks for the non rat content. I rarely, if ever get out on the rats any more. I rode the Trek 520 Saturday 25 miles to test how the new gravel tires would be on pavement. I rode up the West and East Peak in Hubbard Park (700' elevation gain in one mile). The sunset was glorious.

First West Peak, where there are three towers. One dates to 1939 and is one of the oldest FM broadcast towers in the country.

Then over to East Peak where the castle/tower is.

After a long Sunday of chores and roller skating with the fam, I managed to get out for six one-mile intervals (15 miles total) on the Marinoni at the airport. Civil Air Patrol trainer in background.

No need for apologies here. It says "What have you been riding lately?"

I don't see any obligation in it that your ride needs to be a rat...
(If I go through my older postings in this thread I even see ice skates and sleds...) 😉
