I cleaned the crossframe commuter. I am trying out some chainwax now, since the chain got so rusty and dirty with this wet winter.
Spring is in the air too!

Man I enjoy this bike, love it!

The last two days I took part in the
"Game of Toiletpaper" 🧻
This is a virtual alley cat that you can do everywhere you are. Instead of fixed checkpoints you have to fulfill several tasks.
I took the Wolverine to have some fun:

Starting point should be a street named after a woman. Here Johanna Spyri, a Swiss writer, famous for Heidi.

Another task was to visit a ghost bike

And to visit a special landmark. This picture was taken from the Fliegerberg, the place where Otto Lilienthal tested his flying machines. As you can see, I didn't ride alone but together with my kids, one of their classmates and his dad.

Here we visit a "bike persons place", in our case a open workshop for youngsters, where you can come and fix your bike or get it fixed.

Here's the video I made from those two days (it's in german and partially swissgerman)

Lately it's been sub-tropical wet in south-east Queensland.
I've had the 'tank' out. This bike is good fun for following, and crossing the watercourses that run between housing estates.

Years after the developments, the jungle has partly returned. Large lizards are plentiful.

Mostly it's along bike paths - with occasional grasslands and mild off-road.

It's heavy, but geared low enough to make little difference whatever the riding surface.

The motor connects the seat to the handlebars.
