My computer crashed and I lost all my photos. So I am trying to rebuild my collection of pics. I had a picture of the "Life behind bars" lowrider picture. I am looking for a good sized photo of this without the wording under it. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Chris

All right I got the serial # and it is AJ514287 off of the head tube. I gave it a spin around the block and it seems to work just fine. Everything seems to be original including the cables. Second gear sometimes doesn't work but I bet once everything is cleaned and lubed properly it should...

I'll get the serial # Tomorrow and give it a ride to see if everything works.

I appologize if this is in the wrong section but my Aunt wanted to know about how much her bike might be worth so I thought I would try here...So if you don't mind giving my Aunt and I a quick rundown on what she has and what it might be worth we would appreciate it. Thanks Chris

WOW...I just ran across this board because of the pics of this Merkel bike. And I must say this is the coolest bike I have ever seen. I am a HUGE fan of Merkels, In one pic there is a mag with the spread of the real bike...I believe I watched the build of that bike..and at the time of building...
