Tank is in first phase of primer. I will block sand it a time or too. I used Omni 2k filler primer.

The frame wet sanded with 400 grit. It's all rattle can stuff for the frame. I'm using VHT engine enamel for the paint coat. I've used it a lot, it's a very durable paint. Looks good enough for frame and small pieces.

I got a few hours in the shop today. The frame has the final primer coat on it. And I got the headlight mounts fabbed up.

I'm still on it, slowly. It's been kinda crazy at work. I got the frame all cleaned up and finished welded. I added a nice little gusset where the two seat stays meet up front on the down tube. The frame looked so good wire wheeled and shiny I almost considered clearing it as is. I dropped...

Yo all!! Not a lot to report. I pulled the motor apart to start the rebuild. Looks like the governor deal in the case came apart and took out the oil slinger. The piston, cylinder, connecting rod, and valves are toast. My rebuild kit with a .020" overbore is on the way. I have the block and...

All the components of a wheel accumulated as well as a borrowed truing stand. I got the heaviest gauge spokes and brass nips I could get through a bike shop. I'm using the shimano hub I originally planned on using and a good ol rhynolite rim for strength and rim brake. I think having the raw...

I went for a ride tonight. It's still super fun to ride. Maybe too fun. I kinda enjoy riding more than my Honda... maybe.. Had to take a picture under the theater lights I did happen to run out of gas, luckily not very far from a gas station. I filled up exactly 3/4 of a gallon[emoji106]

I don't think that can happen as long as I'm not pushing it in reverse, it hasn't been a problem.

Whipped up this little widdgagadget dohiccky with built in tension preload adjustment.. chain tensioner. The mounting tabs.. And, installed in function mode.. Mostly discrete. Test ride came back with no complains or even really noticing it there. So I guess it's a success. This was the...

Thank you! It pretty comfortable too. I took it for a quick ride around the neighbor hood. In the rain. Just to ride it since I've finished the exhaust and seat. It sounds way different with just 6" more pipe and wrap. I like it, it sounds smoother After waxing.
