I ran out of batteries in my camera right after I took a photo of the Gulf bike. My dad had a brilliant idea after he saw that bike.

I had a GT mountain bike, it was so so. My Trek cruiser is a POS. The rear end bearings wore out just after the warranty was up. Then then idiot at the bike shop told me he could not get parts to fix it. I finally found some "metric" Shamano bearings to fit in the hub. That will be my last...

If you look at the low-mid end bikes at the bike shops and the "wally world" bikes....its all the same China junk. The bolt on parts are all made by the same manufactures. Better off finding a child's Schwinn from the 60's. The two worst bike purchases I ever made were a GT and a Trek.

I always go to that but I am typically selling in the swap meet.

The Gilmore Car Museum is a great place to ride your bike, take in a car show and one of the 10 best car museums in the country. I help host this event. If you have an old bike bring it and ride it around the show! I usually have a couple of my Stingray's there to ride around the event...

I pretty much will only buy a Chicago made Schwinn (Well the Fastback isn't really a Chicago Schwinn). It's gotta be a smoking hot (cheap) deal for me to stray away from Schwinn. The only bike missing from this photo is my girl friends new red 70 Schwinn Breeze 3 speed. All of my bikes are 63-71.

All of the above.... lol The road in front of my house got a paved shoulder last year so bike riding is less hazardous on the street. The main road into town is not accommodating to cycling. I would ride my bike for more day to day things if the bike trail along the old GR&I railroad...
