The guy's name was Jerry Siegel. He owns a place called Mountain&Road Bicycle Repair in Idaho Springs. Oh and I finished the bike. Will put up pics when I get home New Years Eve.
Thanks you guys...your prayers really helped as I had no anxiety and got home safely (and the iPod with 'Ol Skool Rodz didn't hurt either  ) Hope you all have a Merry Christmas :D
Tomorrow morning I leave from Denver and will hopefully land in LA (California). I just ask that anyone on here willing to would please pray for my nerves as I do have problems with flying and this is my first trip without my mom. Probably kinda silly for a 15 year old but it weighs heavily on...
I'm sorry but what do you mean by suspended? probly something really simple that I'm not catching... And no I think I'll be rolling Burt Munro style "He's got no brakes and he's got no parachute" 8)
Thank you for your input, I think I've got decent solutions - 1.As far as all three wheels being level I have since changed the design to have 20'' in the front and back with a 16'' in the middle to bring the bike's stance to look somewhat like a V...sorta...
Yeah, pretty much the same only mine will have all three wheels rolling and I'll probly do some more bodywork but gaskill's is definitely a huge influence(not gonna be a copy cat though)
While in Colorado I met a guy who owns a bike shop and was very interested in our " odd style of bikes" and asked me to keep him up to date on my builds...which I(that day) had none of...until the gears in this twisted little mind got turning. I was trying to think of what I had laying around...
Wow that's funny that I read this thread as I am visiting Colorado at the moment and MAN have I seen some odd rides on the slopes here  I was just in an antique store yesterday and this guy had a snow bike from the forties (he said  ) and he wanted $650 for it :!: 10 pounds of rust...
.... thanks adapt. I'll be starting up on this new project during christmas break (and after my speedway bike  ) and you'll definitely be in the credits
Wow this thing is awesome. Got my vote :D Whate make/model of motor is that? my dad and i are really interested in building a bike like this so any info on the build would be much appreciated.
p.s. I second the hat, looks very swing :)
I was wondering if these bars (turned upside down) http://www.bicycledesigner.com/defaulth ... handlebars would look good on this bike for more of the racer look . I have a pair in the garage like them but couldn't go outside to take a pic of them(too close to bedtime  ) Thanks for any...
