I bought a late 30's Elgin frame (or thats what he thought it was). Ive been cleaning up the layers of paint and found this ID number under the BB mount. MD16220 any ideas to nail down what I have. Here is a picture of the frame Thanks for looking and any help you can give

its a great pic. I dont know if anyone can make it bigger without the original pic because it will become to pixelated. You might ask your niece to send you the original picture. Im guessing she resized it to make it smaller to send via email, or to put on your computer. Just a thought.

Hey I know that bike...lol That picture does this bike no justice... its sahweet

and I did do a search, but there was something like 12k finds in the search. I made it about 9 pages in and didnt find anything.

I just picked up a springer front end like the picture posted below only in black, and as Im looking over it I just notice these springers dont look or feel very heavy duty. I know alot of people here run them. Has anyone had any problems with them?

I just picked mine up today from Porked Chopped Custom Cycles in Wichita Ks. He had to order it. Not sure who he went through, I know I couldnt find them online either. Im sure he can ship one to ya, just google the bike shop and give him a call. They dont have an online store.
