    1988 Murray X2 (My childhood ride) LoL

    I was helping the old man today in the attic and look what I found! LoL This was my first bicycle when i was 3 years old and i know for a fact she is 100% original. 24 years have flown by. It looks a lot smaller since the last time I saw it. LoL

    I use liquid wrench penetrating oil. WD-40 dries after a few hours. I guess these old bike are like old guns. You have to keep them clean and oiled to preserve them LOL Thanks for your input friend. Anything helps

    Thanks. My friends keep telling me to restore the bike back to original. But hey, If it ain't broke, dont fix it. I like the old school look and as long as you keep it clean and indoors after rides the little bit of surface rust it has shouldn't be a problem

    Thank you. Im glad the previous owner didn't scrape it off. It gives people that look at it an idea of how old it is.

    61 JC Higgins Flightliner

    I picked this bike up about a week ago and judging by the research i have done its a 1961 JC Higgins Flightliner. She appears to be about 95% original. The only aftermarket parts i see are the handle bars (maybe), back tire and kickstand. Any info will help, let me know what y'all think.
