I thought you already had the rear wheel laced up in the mock up?

No that was a wheel from another bike I just got done building , this is the wheel that is going on this build

Thanks Luke , this is the bike i just finished that was in the pictures as i was thinking how i was going to build this bike

I like the look of frames built like that, with the seat post curved to match the wheel...

Both wheels are awesome!!!
I love that chopper frame. With the curved bar it looks like a Higgins Chopperflow!

Thanks kingfish , they are the biggest pain in the butt to spoke , I would rather do a 26" wheel any day over these big wheels

Lookin' good, I'm curious to see the drive. It looks to me like it's gonna be close to your heel somewhere in the rotation... But overcoming problems is one of the most fun things in bike building.

Carl.

Carl the drive is far enough from the peddles that I can have my toes on the peddle and I will still have room between my heel and the drive , the drive will set on top of the lower bar, hope to have the drive put together this week so you can see

Lots of work done today , got the frame finished up except for grinding and got the drive put in it , the drive didnt end up where i wanted it but it will work fine there , a little more welding on the drive tomorrow and i will be able to take it for a test ride , And you all have to take points off for only meeting 2 out of 3 rules , wide tire , tall bars, and muscle bike seat but i really like the seat thats on it , SORRY

Well these fat tire bikes dont lean much anyway , i have thought about moving the rear tire back a little and then move the drive up to give a little more ground clearance , but i dont want to get the rear tire back to far as i think it might look funny

Nice work getting the drive well out of the way, as has been said though, may cause some cornering issues...
I found with BigJim I actually needed more lean to get it to turn well than a normal bike would.
Really hoping you come up with a solution, love this bike!

Luke.
