I wonder if a guy could fab some rocker plates to get that front wheel a little farther out... that front fork looks kinda vertical. Weird, never noticed one of these before...

Carl.

That floating nanner idea is genius and that saddle and chainguard are just too cool!

This seat from @Ichoptop deserves something cool done with it. Originally I was thinking of using mid tube rod extensions as seat supports to do the floating nanner, but then I reached out to @slowriderz so that I could use one of his posts. It will be much stronger than any thing I could have done, plus it opened up the floating sissy bar option.

Gonna be awesome! I'd say that with your red metalflake grips and banana seat, the frame would look great painted like the 1955 ad. Maybe a trick red metalflake with a satin black?

I really like your thinking on that!!!!

Interesting idea! I haven't gotten anywhere near that far along in my thinking on this build, but I'll definitely explore that.

Just found a couple of 1954 X53 ads

Yaa! Those green ones are hot but I don't think I can mix teal and green as secondary colors...

Chad worked his magic and this big iron boomerang is headed my way.

this is going to be a good build me thinks :113:

Thanks, I remembered that I had this cool Rollfast rack from @Jpromo and I may try to incorporate the inserts into the sissy bar. Of course if I do, I will probably have to add some support braces from the fender cross brace.

Actually, IF I do use this it would probably look better inverted with the sissy bar coming to a point. We'll see how it shakes out.

Where the seat originally came from. I was never able to figure it out

Thanks Aaron. That Mach 5 seat is close, but it curves up more than the one I got from you. The mystery continues.
