Hi folks,

With the holidays here I thought I would show off some ornaments I just made. These are made of copper wire, soldered together. Different gauges make the rims, frame, bars and spokes.

They're a little crude but very nice looking from a few feet away. They're going on a Victorian themed Christmas tree which is being auctioned off as a benefit for the New London Community Meal Center.

Other trees will be donated to families who are unable to afford them. Our organization, Bike New London, is sponsoring one of the trees and a friend of mine who is amazing at decorating and sewing, is putting the tree together. She has already made a fabric lined box for the ornaments to rest in, which doubles as a decorative gift under the tree.
