    I'm making a challenge to @GuitarlCarl.

The subject of post apocalyptic builds has come up before, but I like Carls idea of the bike being the zombie.

So here's the idea Merle... You work on the zombie bike and I'll work on survivor bike.
    No real time limit.
One rule... when it's done, you call it finished.
    Other than that, anything goes...

All right I WILL build a Zombie Bike.
But I'd like to add 1 thing.
Zombies often travel in herds so...
    OTHER BUILDERS DOING ZOMBIES TOO!
Come on guys this will be fun.
I don't even see any rules to speak of...
No time constraints is cool but I'm shooting for
    HALLOWEEN just because...

    Merle.

Day one of the Zombie Apocalypse...

This is in my driveway, I tried to shoo it off but parts are just falling off of the bike. There seems to be no adhesion. I'm a little scared to touch it...

I'm starting with a schwinn CroMo mountain bike frame, I won't be able to dig it out til Friday, but I'll get it and some parts gathered up.

Interesting that you're starting with a girl's frame.

That thing should fit the category just fine, looks like it's already been through the apocalypse.

I'm taking Rockin' Rollfast to a bike show in Chicago.
So I won't be building that day...

Normally small competitions are all run in one thread, makes it more exciting!

I forgot to post a parts pic, the women in my life won't let me NOT celebrate my birthday.
Good news is, my wife bought me a nifty park tools repair stand. No more building on the floor.

    I'll get started tomorrow/later today I guess.

For the record, I love my wife, my mother, my daughter, and my granddaughter.... holidays not so much.

See you all in a few.
