found this one today at a estate sale here in omaha. seems to be snyder built? mabey prewar? looking for any info on it. also need a good pic of these kind of springer forks assembled correctly. bike was found partially disassembled, so i need a guide to put it back together correctly. see pic #6.

Well I don't have a picture, but I'm pretty sure the rear brace should have a hole on the back edge of the main fork blade, and the springer legs and front brace go on the axle, which passes through a bushing in the slot. I believe there is some sort of clip that goes between the fender and the crown, but I can't seem to drag the details of that from the old noggin. Haven't seen but one of those, and it wasn't during this century. I guess the brace could go on the pivot and the fender attach directly to the crown, but I believe what I said first is correct. Good luck, that fork is cool as a watermelon.
 
thx again deorman. with your help and a pic from a cabe member, got it all put back together. starting to look nice! just need a train light.
