Went over and visited my Dadfish again today and used his persuasion bar along with a little redneck engineering to use the radius of the support pole to make the bend on the floating sissy bars.

The curve is pretty close to what I was hoping for. I may angle it up a little more. I haven't decided on total height and topper for this yet either.

Took it out in the sunshine over at Dadfish's too and looking closer, I may have it following the nanner curves, but the bars may be slid too bar back. I'll tweek it all over the next few weeks. Just glad to get the initial bends done on it.

The heat index was around 106 today, so when I got home I took a break. After resting a little, I pulled the bike out and did another mockup.

I was planning on keeping this next part hidden for a while longer. I have been mocking it up since day one and I feel it's time to share that I plan to use the X53 tank that I bought years ago for my other X53 project. Here it is.

Looking cool! Some classic Kingfish style going on there. Nice bend on the tubes. Was worried they would kink. Love the way the tank flows into the floating naner tubes.

Just needs a parrot as lauded to earlier in the thread. Looking good.

Bar backs never get as much recognition as the bar tenders. In this case however, the back bars have been tended to nicely.

Stewie, why would anyone need a hinged nanner? This dude is nuts?
