Hi guys, I'm back. Boy, I really missed RRB! Hopefully I'll be hanging out more and finishing a couple of frozen projects.

I come bearing gifts! I spotted this Vespa scooter slash bicycle:

16" wheels would look better, they are the same outside diameter as 10" scooter tires.

I see they're training the little Euro-kiddies on pedal Vespa's for the day they'll be teens and terrorizing the streets morning to night on the motorized version. I went to school in Italy and remember those little delinquents well. Gary

Doing some googling, I don't really find much except this same picture or variants thereof. Is this a home-made contraption? Is there a motor hidden under that rear assembly?

That's someone's home-built contraption.

There was a Vespa 50N moped (pedals and an engine) that was similar to a regular 50 Special. This one looks like a cut-up 150 Super.

There have also been many, many pedal powered toy Vespas for young children.
