Re: Tucker's Spaceliner Build (licence plate an head light)

Just keeps getting better and better...PEACE

Re: Tucker's Spaceliner Build (fine tuning stuff)

I got alot done on this bike yesterday ,
* put the sprocket and cable on the nexus 7
* mod-ed the rear fender again
* attached both fenders
* broke the chain to the right length
* worked out the rear rack battery problem
* added licence plate kickstand and chain guard , I had some paint left and decided to paint the kickstand too.
I can ride it now lets see if I can resist till I take my final photo

Things left to do
* decals
* head badge ??????( waiting for response from head badge guy) I don't need one but I think what I had in mind is cool
* rocket saddlebags sound system (this might not happen due to time, and lack of fiberglass skill, and money for fiberglass supply's )
Here are some more pictures

Re: Tucker's Spaceliner Build (licence plate an head light)

Any chance of you showing up at Cyclefest ?, I noticed your beach cruiser Fremont /Newark add, just to let you know I used to cruise Fremont back in the eighties, but my 69 Chevelle used to use a little more gas.

Re: Tucker's Spaceliner Build "KRUZ3R MOB" , in the house

Great fenders & rear rack & reflector. Love the painted kickstand.
There are so many great builds done & near done. It's going to be hard to vote.

Re: Tucker's Spaceliner Build "KRUZ3R MOB" , in the house

Nice! I think you could pull off making the license Plate red/chrome or whatever. If you mess up, or don't like it, you can always get another. This has turned into a great build, can't wait to see it @ shiny side up!

Re: Tucker's Spaceliner Build "Knock off knock offs"

Well I found these on E-bay and seen them on a couple of bikes and they look coo but I'm not paying $99 dolars for them

* go to the hardware store and buy some plumbers putty and some chrome wall flanges (2.99) for a two pack)

* Get some mini reflectors and notch them with a dremel mini grinder wheel and putty them in the flange

* then notch a bolt that fits your rim and putty it ti the bolt on the back of the flange
