Stayer bikes... SOme have BIG chainrings as well.
There is a reason...I just got to remember...
There it is...motor paced racing (this could probably be put in the obscure racing thread as well )...here is an article ( http://goodsparkgarage.com/motorcycles-bicycles-in-motor-paced-racing/ )...and some pics...
What is even the purpose of that kind of races?
Hemmingway wrote about that form of racing in one of his novels.
Stayer bikes on the street?
No idea...but, it has been around for a very long time, for some reason.
No wind resistance = SPEED!

The bar is
While that thing is a cool idea (I'm thinking on builidng something like that myself), the fact that it is a fixie is a no-no for me
Does mine win?
I put drop bars on it from one of these. They are REALLY wide drop bars, and they are fun with the small front wheel.
You got brakes...
The pedals are the same...
The cranks are from one set...

Magic the cycling.
High speeds. The front fork is set with positive castor like a bascart so the wheel stays true and straight for stability. The motorcycle is to reduce drag and pull the bike in to it's draft, so they can reach speeds of 60+ mph. I think the record is around 115mph. Bicycle version of the Bonneville salt flat board tracker motorcycles.
Is that a Dodge roadbike? Gimme details.
It is a Dodge Viper road bike that was a promotional item for the Dodge Viper. It was meant for a Dodge Viper owner to have so it went along with their car. It was from 2006.
