This build will cross the best from the American bicycle genres of Klunkers & Strandies. Hence "The American Crossbred". Starting with a 1950's Schwinn straight bar and adding a looptail = Klunker + Strandie! Got a cool CBR inspired decal for the straight bar.

Yes!! I've seen SBC do this. One of my favs at their show last summer was a straightbar where they added a looptail. So rad!! Can't wait to see it built up!
