OK, made my louver dies last night and got to work early this morning punching them out.
a little detail fabrication today to finish up then it's time for teardown and paint/detailing.

I made a wood and bondo buck of what I wanted my fender to look like.
Prepped it for making a mold.
Sprayed the gel coat.
Reinforced the mold and popped it off.
Layed fiberglass in the new mold.
Popped out a perfect fender half.
Made another.
Put them together to make one whole fender.

I have 9 days left to get this looking good. The pressure is on.

The cool thing about this build challenge is we are building completely different bikes! It's anybodys guess what people are going to like.

Ok, I was satisfied with the way everything was going together so I took it all apart to do some final welding and paint.
The orange paint with the vinyl for the seat and the orange grips... all matching really well!
sanding the frame down for a clearcoat. the theme colors are raw metal and orange!
The seat pan with new chrome springs and the vinyl cut for the sewing machine.
Stripped down the spaceliner fork so I can strip it to raw metal and paint the fork ends orange.
The goal is to have this back together tomorrow night for the Run to the Pines car show on saturday. Might not be entirely detailed but it will look good either way!

All finished and we had a blast at the tour! the folks at OHSO Eatery and Nano Brewery in Scottsdale were stoked!
