Stingray build-off? - More challengers? Starts Friday!

Stingray rebuild Build off? Im about to start a stingray project and wondered to make it into a mini build off

Rules?
1. Rebuild an original classic Stingray with Nos or new accessory parts
2. No frame changes

Sounds good! I just got a really good deal on super rare grape krate :

I have finally gathered up most of the thing I need to finish my next ray so this comes at a good time. It's gonna be fun!

I'd like to, but someone broke into my Mansion last night and stole every one of my coveted NOS Dingleberry Krate parts.

No worries sphinx, I got an extra banana peeler I will make you a deal on. It has the original yellow with brown flecks all over it. Looks like a lemon peeler with rust but its not.

Rules? Other than no frame mods.
Other than factory colors ok?
Modified parts?
Or is this going to be a "restoration" build?
Just wondering. I am fine with anything.

Kind of a Resto-custom build, colors; anything you want, even original patina. Modified parts: yes as long it looks like it belongs

End goal to aim for : build a nice classic stingray to ride the wheels off of!

Not sure yet. I have four that need to be started. 74 5 speed, 71 5 speed, 65 and one I haven't run the numbers on yet but it is later single speed. Love me some stingrays. :mrgreen:

As it turns out I also have a November '70 Single speed Ray. Maybe I build this one.

Guess it has to get finished some day too.
