OK everyone First off we usually dont post build threads but there are people out there who want to see what we can do. We decided to post this build thread of a special bike that will be donated to Sedgwick County Zoo and will be part of there silent auction on Sept. 7th. to help raise money for a good cause. So hang on and enjoy!

SKELETOR is coming!!!

We started with a Phat Cycles Skullz 26" frame.

The skullz bike was completely stripped and we are using just the frame. The frame was then stripped from all the paint and the origional head tube was cut out.

This is going to be the fork that we will be using on SKELETOR. Phat Cycles 1-1/8" fork with double CNC top plate.

Welcome to the Build Off. Only 12 Days to Finish!!!

Fork Legs being fit to the tripple clamp. Also shows how much the legs need to come through for that the top plate fits correct.

SKELETOR is starting to look like a bike again. We will be using these wheels and tires as a starting point. 26x2.125 3G SLICKY-G on the front and the 24x3.45 on the rear. The front wheel...going to use this Hoop which is a 26x1.75 Phat Cycles. The rear we are going to use 3G's 24x2.25 later on we will be using these rims with a front disc 36 spoke hub and rear disc 36 spoke hub with a freewheel.

How long have you been working on this bad boy?

Started working on this the first week of June. Just now getting to post pictures. I have to have the bike at the Sedgwick Co. Zoo on the 1st of Aug. Its been a bit hectic.
