I love this place. Seeing people getting inspiration from others, sharing ideas, helping with technique and tips. Bikes getting better when someone learns something new, and people enjoying themselves in the process. The internet isn't just a place to show off how much better you are than others, it can be used for the betterment of others!
 
Just spent the last week off and on catching up with the class 1 builds. A lot of awesome stuff going together. I was going to skip this build off because summer is car time for me but I’m glad I built something. How some of you guys do all the detail work is crazy. Once it’s a rider I kind of lose interest in all the small details!
 
I enjoy the mechanical aspect and the tinkering. I hit the wall when a paint can shows up. Been avoiding the Donkey since I scuffed and scratched it in March. As soon as I got it prepped, I hated it. Might be my last paint job.

I love the inventiveness, the difference in style, vision, and design and the love for bicycles of everybody on this forum. To bikaholics bicycles are objects of admiration, potential and desire and a means of self-expression. Spread bikaholicism! Make bikes, not war!
 
I don’t know if this is the right place to post this, but it seems like it’ll do. Are there build off rides in the fall once we’re all done? Is there anyone in MA doing a build off? Let’s get together once we’re done and go for a ride... ideally to the closest brewery.

Man I hope you don't think that happened in my thread. I thought I missed posting a photo of what I had in mind. First of all I tend to barely find my tool I just had in my hand. Nevermind remembering what I just posted. I just now figured out how to go look at the link you added. I am still laughing because I just had to get a tetanus shot when I fileted my knuckles and needed stitches. I kept lying to them about it . I hate shots so bad
