This is an early '80s, 1-owner INB that I rehabbed with the owner's original frame, stem, handlebars, & crankset.

Purchased this 1979 Deluxe Cruiser a few weeks ago from someone in AZ.

Traded emails with the President of Worksman Cycles and he said there were probably less than 200 of these forks made back in the day. Most were sold to a bike rental company in New Jersey then.

Hey? Hold up on the tail of the chain guard. Is that a factory extension of some sort? Or just where Rat has photo shopped this unicorn?

I have seen that extension on a few original Worksmen I have come across, curious.

Worksman?

Certainly a Worksman from the seat tube back.
The top tube tapers as it meets the seat tube. The head tube seems Worksman (though not lugged), Akisu fork, Wald stem, & handlebars. 80s spec chainring, Union pedals, 3/16" chain, & WTC rims w/ 11g spokes & knockout front hub.

I saw my initial on the middle tube & had to have it.

Welds are decent and the frame is straight.

Dang that's cool Mark...where did you find that?

Post it on the Strand group and tag Wayne Sosin and see what he says.
