I have a half dozen or so bikes to get finished for flippin' season but now that the shirt is here, it's time get thinking about this. Plan is for an elegant, skinny tube mountain bike turned all rounder. Shooting for something lugged, butted tubes, fancy fork crown but I need to check the pile for something taller than I'd normally keep for myself.
Pulled this out of the lonely mountain. US made Schwinn High Plains. Has cool lugged bottle cage bolts. It might be a lil big for me but maybe Shadowfax should be somewhat intimidating to ride.
That frame looks like a pretty TALL order!

Dilemma. I want to use the old school pyramid bars so I can run a pad but I dont have a stem.
Quick run over to the community bike shop turned up nothing. Guess we’re going with the stainless bars. This frame also takes a weird size seatpost so I’m going to have to get... creative?
Added some red into the build? Not sure yet..
FBM Double Fister grips seem appropriate.
Thought I had a red quilted seat but only had black. Mrs Cheese liked the gold clamp better so here we are. Its a bike.
