So this thing kinda fell into my lap. Initially when I was told about it, a 60’s era Western Flyer didn’t really pique my interest that much. I assumed it was a cantilever middleweight, but upon seeing pictures of it with it’s deep, wide chrome fenders, absolutely excellent chrome drop centers with a Bendix hub, and pretty nice Carlisle Lightning Darts, I changed my tune. The bike is truly in excellent condition overall. Considering I got it for less than a set of chrome Chinese “beach cruiser” rims on eBay, it was a no brainer.
