Can anyone help me with identifying this bike? It belonged to my step fathers dad. I believe it to be a mid 30's early 40's bike. S# I45611
I think the handlebars are supposed to be down. I think this is a racer, I used to ride it as a kid. It took a lot of effort to get going, but once you got going, you could really get going pretty fast. It is a single speed. I still have the wooden pedals. I am not sure if I want to restore and keep...or if it is going to collect dust and should maybe go to a good home where it can be restored. So a value would be appreciated as well.
