We had basically one day of really nice weather the week-end after New Years Day.

Ms jerrykr and I rode the close by, Cotton Belt Trail on our road bikes.

The trail follows along side the old Cotton Belt Train Tracks.
There is now a tourist train that runs these tracks in good weather from Grapevine to the Stock Yards in Ft Worth.
They used to have a Steam Engine (Puffy) pulling the train cars.
It went in for a re-build and so far, no word if it will ever run again.

Good video. Looks like a nice path. Being able to see the old steam engine would be a bonus.

Thanks Randy. When it was in service, we could hear the steam whistle from our backyard.
