Here's my rat. A 60's-something Schwinn Typhoon. I've had it for about nine years. I think I picked it up at an auction. Got the apehangers from eBay 6 or 7 years ago, don't remember where I got the chrome fenders. The seat is a beat-up Mesinger that I pulled from another Typhoon I have which is in really good shape.
Took this pic in the afternoon sun, before I swapped out the rusty chrome wheels and changed the gooseneck:

The bike has an incredible patina. It must have been ridden a million miles before I got it, as the paint is completely gone from the top bars. The original printing on the chainguard is completely worn away from the chainguard as well, with a ghost image of the printing that was once there.
