oh nooooooooo....................i fell clothespin'n watching this thread right now!!!!!!!!!!!
just noticed.the guy holding the banner(on the left) being jumped into is harry larry!!!!

Funny side note...

I bought those knock off grips off of Ebay for $9.99 shipped.

If you read that article.....the stats about the test bike state that it is sporting a pair of knock off Taiwan Oakley style B-1B which would eventually be replaced by the real Oakley grips.

So in reality, my bike will be worth more....it will be just like the test bike....ha ha!

I will say this...I can see how Kev. got sucked into the world of vintage BMX.

I was 10-14 years old when BMXing was hot. My friends and I used to drool over the high end bikes at the bike store when we were kids.

I think there were only a few kids that we knew that even had any bikes like GT, Redline, Hutch, etc.

Even though I never raced and never will, there's something fun about owning one and looking at it all of the time, ha ha.

The good news is, I'm way too broke to ever really get too deep into collecting these things.

From what I hear, it's best to be a single house painter to afford them.

I think the only thing I'd be interested in down the road would be a cool set of black pads for the bike.

Installed my tires last night. If things go well I may be able to give it a quick bath over the weekend.

Ha Ha...don't worry, I've been thinking of selling the DiamondBack to be
able to buy a Nexus 3 speed hub and have it laced into my 1961 Spitfire.

Always a Rat Rodder at heart!!!!
