That why you’re Aces in my book! Every time I check the vote count I’m amazed at the sincere appreciation of MoFaux? With the exception of my wife, outsiders, akin family and friends haven’t a clue of my bicycle addiction. I’ve never shared my passion for bikes with friends or family members…I fear if they knew of my obsession,they 'd probably lock me up!

People love Mofaux. I think there is a bigger point differential between 1st and 2nd than there is between 2nd and 106th! Seriously man, your bike is amazing. Congrats on a killer ride.

There are a few bikes that didn't get near the votes I expected. I thought New School, Seminole, Loco-Motion and Paint it Black would all be top ten bikes for sure. Just goes to show we all have different tastes. I hope after the voting is done, people will share who they voted for and why. It would be very interesting to hear what people look for in a bike.

yeah im glad to see that the bikes are becoming bikes again....hope it keeps going that way.
functional and cool without the need for unnecessary(for looks only.no practical function) stuff on them.

the one thing i really missed about this years build off was the fact that fsjaak didnt enter
i think this was the first year he wasnt in it and i kept hoping he would but post(if you havent seen his past build off posts go dig through the archives. theyre well worth it!)but alas...it wasnt meant to be.
maybe next year!

I agree! I really expected that there would be more votes or at least around the same number of votes being cast. I know a few people that are waiting until the end to vote. Maybe there are more of those than we think. There are still quite a few bikes out there that I think deserve more votes than they have.

All I can say is WOW! amazing builds this year as always... Really diverse for sure. HiaWhatThe was one of my favorites this year as well as Hot Rod Higgins and Full Tilt boogie. Flex-Liner came out great, Fisch's experimental piece was indeed "awesome". Lackluster, Honey Badger, Long Black, Paint-it, QuickSilver, Shakedown, German spy, Smokin, Special D and all the rest... JUST AMAZING WORK. MoFaux is the star for sure and looks like a prop from tomorrow-land. Can't wait till next year!

Thanks for the mention and I gotta say, first, right back atcha :mrgreen: and second, that MoFaux inspired me to let my imagination run WILD next time I enter a build off. 8) 8)

I took my bike to work parked it on the floor next to all the new Treks, and just let people try to figure out why its parked there, the comments are better than any votes I can get !!!! but thank you for the votes whoever voted for me 8)

Seriously though, I guess it doesn't matter who anyone voted for, but more what they were looking for. I mean outside MoFaux, the competition is pretty tight. That's a good thing. Everyone has their own idea of what a cool build is. I think we see that with the variety of bikes entered. For me, it wasn't all about gadgets or engineering wonders, it was all about a nice looking and nice riding rat bike. Bling works, but isn't necessary. I picked a nice variety of bikes.

This year I missed Dr.Tank,Kota, Petrolhead and Smoopy. But I had alot of others who stepped in and gave it their all. Soon this will be over and I will fade back into Ninja Mode. But I will still be lurking in the shadows. I will keep in touch and stay building so keep ya eyes peeled for the Jake.The butterknife will rise again!! I will announce my Tuff Bike winner tonight! So cue up "Bad Reputation" and Get ta Vote n !!! Peace
