So I am a ways off from paint, but wanted to give a glimpse of things to come.
This is my Headbadge as it would have looked stock:
Here's what my head badge actually looks like (do you see what I see?):
I took a rub of the badge to use as a template, and here's what I've come up with so far (I will paint the lettering as well, but leave the background bare):

Thank you @Captain Awesome and @Couch tater ! I ordered two sets of those fog light brackets, and with some finessing, I think they will work out great. Here is configuration #1
Configuration #2 is a no go as the angle changes just enough that the holes will not align.

Wow, it's all coming together nicely!
Words cannot express how badly I want configuration #3 to work. However, these porch swing springs have a 325 lb compression limit, doubled with a second spring. They will look cool but provide 0% shock absorption as I am 140 lbs soaking wet with a brick in my pocket. Anyone know where I can get compression springs in the 150-175lb range?
