This will be my attempt at a klunker type build, I know very little about the concept. What I do know is basically, it's a Mt. Bike. So here goes.

Oh wait, I still haven't quite figured out tapatalk. I'll be back with pics.

I'm basically gonna take the parts from this

And put them on this

This is just a teaser, I'm not going to start building until I get the one part I have to order.

Since oddjob put out the challenge, I'll build in his style (fast)
Once the part shows up I'll throw it together in one day, no special paint or anything. It is off road after all.

I actually almost called this thing shakes beer, but don't figure I'll be doing to many beer runs with it.

(Ducks and runs for cover) :21:

Great start Falstaff, looks like it will be very cool!

Luke.

Slang I use from Colorado, where we would take out Mtn Bikes up the ski lift and race the downhill runs on our bikes....

Building... riding...

Which is basically what the guys who first converted old cruiser bikes into bikes more able to run downhill, and some with gears, uphill; called their "klunkers".

I'm getting a Commander frame as well. But mine is going a different direction. Yours will be fun to watch!
Thanks, I'll be looking forward to yours.

Once I get to building there won't be much to watch, I'll throw it all together in one day. Possibly next weekend, will post pics as I go though.
