I have a 4 speed shimano internal hub on one of my bikes and 2nd gear is making a clattering noise. Is this a normal thing with the 4 speed hubs? The 3 other gears are pretty quiet...
Yes, it makes the noise no matter where the shifter is, as long as the hub is in 2nd it's noisy. The noise only shows up when pedaling, and only in this one gear.
