My wife, who at 31, was only 6 when the Police were popular, scored me two tickets for the Reunion Tour when they will be here in June. And she doesn't even want to go!! She got them at a discount from work and they were still 106 bucks apiece...so I'm guessing we got pretty good seats. I'm pretty stoked.

Tonight, the Denver Roller Dolls!! Ladies Roller Derby at it's best and most violent. YESSSSSSS!

Question, did they do roxanne with sting? or everybreath you take? if so, ILL GO! Hahaha im only 16 now and i like them :p I love music

good score rat daddy..
The show sold out in Vancouver( 16,000 seats ) in 8 minutes..
they now have a second show 90% sold out..
I'd love to see them.
They are One of the only "Super Groups"
I missed out on seeing in the 80's

I have an issue with todays ticket prices though!!! :x

You will love the show I'm sure!
peace,
Kev.

Great Score! I got the greatest hits of Sting and the Police somewhere!!

I missed out on seeing them in the 80's too. A huge group of my friends saw the Syncronicity tour in St. Louis and my folks wouldn't let me go. I had seen Sammy Hagar on the 3-Lock Box tour and had a concert t-shirt taken from by knife point, so they decided that was enough unescorted concerts for me.

Speaking of the Sammy concert. That was the concert they filmed to show on MTV. I'd like to say you could see me in the video but at 5'3" that would be a big fat lie. That concert was the start of my wanting to be a rock star and getting into bands.

I saw the Altar Boys (early christian punk pioneers) in about 86. They made me realize that you could be into it for God and not the chicks and stardom. These guys rocked harder than anyone I had ever seen and they did it for 110 kids. No fancy lights, no smoke machine, just balls out music and total connection with the kids! I was amazed and inspired. That's why I still do what I do today.

I feel a new topic coming on...

well..I have a personall relationship with the Big Guy..
but I am also an open minded, spiritual person in other ways..

what some would say" A sloppy Christian"

but I believe you need to play( or have played ) on both sides of the tracks in order to see life as a balance.

"Ignorance is a disease" in my mind!
and that is a 2 way street...good and bad!

so throw on the Heavy Christian Rock..and follow it up with
the Slayer..if you are of a good, healthy mind set then it's
all good.

If you are to heavily swayed to one side then you may be
viewing your life through fixed glasses...

Close your eye's...and listen to your heart!
be yourself..cut your own path in the grass.

..live with an OPEN MIND!

Paradigm thinkers need not apply in my world!

peace,
Kev.

I hope that no one feels I am in any way preaching or trying to convert...not my intention. I just stated that the Altar Boys concert was one of the best I have ever seen.
I am fully aware of the different set of beliefs on this board, and if you feel I judge you because of where I am spiritually and what I do for a living, then I respectfully say you are wrong and you don't know me very well.
One of reasons I like this board is the differing viewpoints...on everything. That is why I don't spend all my time at church or with christians. I would be an incredibly shallow person and not nearly as blessed as I am by the friends I have if that is all I did. Yes, my life revolves around my relationship with ....., but that isn't all that I am.
So, without trying to get preachy  ALTAR BOYS RULE!!!!

I took no offence Jeff,
and did not reply in a retalitory way...

I didn't get the impression you where preaching..AT ALL..
and I tried to speak in "I" statements so "I" was not taken wrong..

it's all good brother..
I love my Christian Rock as well..

peace,
Kev.

it's all good Kev,
sometimes I feel the need (unnecessarily I might add) to put in a preemptive strike before people label me as "one of them kinda fellers".

>In fact I just finished listening to my new

Dude, you can't beat free! I may have to check them out. How does one aquire a free CD?

..free..because you and I just told the entire world.....

( ....or at least the important part of the world..
The part of the world that loves Rat Bikes   )

...all about how good they are.
The Music speaks for itself..and we just told everybody
about it so for them,it's free advertisement.
