Congrats to @benjimanactivate on your 1st place in Class 1 "Bracket Buster" build!

And @ParkRNDL and his Coppertone "Penny Saved" for tying with me and "RaTsberry Buffet" for runner-up honors!

This MBBO build off was a lot of fun and a great way to hang out building bikes with all that participated. And as always....

RaT oN~!

wow! I am completely honored and thankful everyone dug my bike! The side story on this is the secondary name I gave the build half way in. last year two very dear friends/families that are part of the same minitruck club both lost infant sons tragically. The first Brantley, I dedicated my last build off bike to. The second Dax , I dedicated this build to. When the build off began I called it the "Bracket buster" as it had a very 60's drag racing feel to it. As the tragedy effected all the friends and families tied to Dax I kept noticing a theme. Dax's mom would always mention "blue for Daxy". At that point the metalflake blue paint had already been applied, so it made sense to me to in some way dedicate the bike and build to Dax's honor. I decided to call it the "Dax star". I'm not gonna lie....it was as much for me and my need to do something to deal with my own sorrow as it was anything else. Here's to you Dax! Keep shining from above!
