You might need it, love the seat.... but it's heavy and I keep thinking of the two guys on the motorcycle in cannonball run, running the race in a wheelie.

Nothing is fastened to anything yet. It's just a mockup so far

Seen this bike this week over at the kingfish court yard . Looks sick in person . That king & queen fish seat is going to really look awesome on there . I'll say this. Anyone who hasn't been, but plans to go to Savannah has to go to that park. And definitely meet up with KF, just make sure you have more than a few hours to spend.

Taking a break today to watch some college football, but this morning I started working on this twisted up Hawthorne springer fork. It's a bit too messed up for fork use, but may be just the ticket for the rear support on the king/queen seat.
First I needed to coerce it into a semblance of straight legs.
Cut off the steertube
Mocked up a test fit
Trimmed off some of the fork blades.

Those previous pics were just mockups. I even played around with extending the crutch to it's fullest height.
Bolted up the seat rails and rear fork support to the bike and to the seat pan.

Decided to take the bike for a long test ride before bolting up the sissy bar.
The seat was super comfy and positioned well.
