With a few exceptions, most vintage 26" balloon tired bikes are at right around a 18" seatpost length. There are a few tall frames that are in the 19"-20" zone, but they aren't exactly plentiful.

If you are going for full leg extension on an old cruiser bike, you will probably be disappointed. I'm 6'2", more body than leg, I don't come close to full leg extension on any of my old cruisers, but, that isn't something I worry about.

'36 Hawthorne, "Little Neutrino" is also the frame that brought me to ratrodbikes looking for info.

A little recap from the frame posted above this a little bit ago.
It rides now, hodgepodged together with what was locally available to build a local for a recently passed local and friend.
This was the last frame he had to build left in his homes workshop in his passing.
It rides like the wind. I think hed have loved it.

Kate and both have a Roadmaster. Technically she gave hers to her Maid of honor or whatever at our wedding. It was the first bicycle she put back together all by herself. It was actually my moms and we legit brought it home from the barn. Mine came from a real barn too now that i think about it
