JC Higgins Identification

Can anyone help me identify this JC Higgins bike. Like what would be
the model name. Im sure its 40's/50's. Needs a little work but I really
love the patina on it.

Generally, only the high end JCH models had names. Yours looks to be an "equipped" mid level model. It should have the serial # stamped on the bottom bracket (BB), along with a few codes. Often, there's a code, "MOS-O", where the last letter is a year code. -Adam
