here's my start for rrb build off 16. Worksman industrial frame and a bunch of parts I had laying around(springer fork, torpedo 3 speed wheel, motorcycle seat). May go with a drum brake front wheel instead lots of ideas. Glad to be participating in my first build off.

Wow that's a great start. I like everything that you've layed out!
I think a drum hub would be appropriate, Worksmans (Worksmen?) aren't lightweights, and this is the Big Show, more is betterer!

What kind of shifter are you going with if you don't mind me asking? I'm undecided so far.

Well that is the problem... What I would like is a derailleur style lever on one or other downtube to go with my old racer theme, but I only have friction levers and I want the bike to be rideable in a way that is kind to the hub. What kinds of thing are you considering?

Welcome to the best way to spend your summer; building a rat rod bike on RRB!

One hint on your photos, @Junkyard_johnny . After you Upload them, click on Full Image and they will post as a full-view instead of the thumbnail. Here's one of yours I did that with.

Thanks for the tip! I only recently created a profile here. Still getting used to it

I'm thinking of trying some sort of lever/jockey shifter

Welcome to RRB and the fun of the build off!
Cool mix of frame and parts.
