Here's my daily fix(ie). All dressed up for winter with the big Odyssey Triple Trap pedals, Planet Bike fenders and Kenda Knobbies. I bought it as a closeout in about '98 and soon abandoned it for lighter faster better. I did the FG build from my parts bin. The cranks are Suginos from a Fuji. I just wanted to try out a fixie. Now I'm hooked. The only parts I purchased were the seat, cog, HB bag, and the brake lever. I'm still digging around for a DiaCompe center pull caliper for the front. The side pull is weak. The gearing is 46x18 which is just under 70 gear inches. The flipped bars are really comfortable and work well with winter gloves. The whole bike is comfortable with boots and a heavy coat for us street clothes riders.
