Snyder built.
The visible side holes for the badge indicate HP Snyder or Westfield or others. The seat post cluster is not Westfield, and Snyder did experiment on them in the middle 1930’s. Snyder also used serial stamps from late in the alphabet. The bottom bracket is the best clue to the Snyder build; barely visible are the unique joints.
It is a motobike model.
Could be a Snyder as in 1936 they used a collet seat post binder but that binder is different than mine, but again mine might be a cobbled together binder job. Looks like my Snyder fork crown.
I agree with it being a 30's Snyder frame/forks. Where the seat stays attach to the seat tube it looks like a different type of weld. The rest of the bike's joints are all clean and neat, so maybe someone added the seat post connection. Or I might be wrong, this is a Snyder made Rollfast, possibly 32:
Nice bike, maybe there is some original paint under the silver, but still a gem regardless. Here's a pic of a 34 Rollfast "Royal Flyer" I found on the CABE:
I found one more thing while searching, this quote concerning the above seatpost clamp:
"Neat bike, frame was often called Motobike in the catalogs. Built by HP Snyder for DP Harris, badged Rollfast. This seat-post clamp design was only used for one year: 1936. The next year the seat tube used a "conventional" clamp with bolt."
