GT Overdrive with Overdressed Rims/Tires aka When Money is No Object Build

Saw this posted on FB this am. It took me a second when I was looking at the wheels, then it dawned on me. A GT Overdrive (I think?) with about $2,000 worth of forged Weld dragsters front rims and Hoosier tires. Now he can go 300mph+ with no worries.

Not sure, but I am sure its very little

I looked on Summit but it didn't show the weight. The rims are 17"… the tires seem to be around 22" x 2.2" to 2.5".

I'm sure they are tonners compared to bicycle mags...but, I'll be checking out the classifieds board next time I go to the track.

Unless things have changed, Bogart's wheels used to only be about 6+ pounds

The only spindle mount Bogarts I can find are listed at 11lbs...but, I can't find any weights on fly series rims, or if there are spindle mount fly rims.
