FORK TUBE TOO LONG SOLUTION

I see posts on here on problems you guys have when fork tube is too long. Here is a solution. Measure the tube and see how much too long it is.
1 1/4'' Black iron gas pipe without a seam on the inside will slide right over the tube so all you have to do is cut a piece the length that you need, if you don't need a big piece you can use spacers from a threadless fork, they come in different thicknesses and they are chrome. Remove the lower bearing race and slide the pipe on then replace the bearing race and your problem is solved. Once you cut the tube its ruined and then your strut rods don't fit either. Do it this way and you will still be able to use the fork on another bike. :idea:
